With the DOG Truck ready for the long haul across the country to Vermont, we met for breakfast and talked over the details for the next few events. Alan (our intrepid Truck Driver) handles the long haul trips for us, since he actually knows how to drive big trucks. Joe Wysocki (Optiquatics) excitedly filled us in on the data captured by the new RFID system. This new system holds quite a lot of promise for future development of the Demo Day and a whole array of new applications being pioneered by DUI.

With all of that out of the way, Susan and I made the dash up the I-5 to the airport to catch the flight home. Along the way the sound of our car horn clearly interrupted the cellphone conversation of the driver of a late model Toyota 4 Runner that nearly careened into us. He looked pretty surprised…aside from nearly killing Susan, I think he may have spilled his coffee. <g>
